Gigabyte X58A-UD9: A Massive Board for a Massive Score

To support that massive electricity needs, the X58A-UD9 draws power from two 8-pin 12V ATX connectors. It can still run without any problem with just a single 8-pin connector, but if you want to utilize all of the potentials (from both your motherboard and processor), you better prepare an adequate power supply with two of these connectors.

Still not having enough power? Plug a molex connector right here to feed the board with even more electricity.

We found what seems to be a small design flaw. If it is installed, the Hybrid Silent Pipe will block the twin molex connectors that happened to be located just underneath it.
