Gigabyte X58A-UD9: A Massive Board for a Massive Score

Gigabyte X58A-UD9’s six DDR3 slots can contain up to 24 GB of memory.

You can find all sorts of connectors on the back panel, from PS/2 ports for your keyboard and mouse, coaxial and S/PDIF digital audio outputs, 6x USB 2.0 ports, 2x USB 3.0/ 2.0 ports, 2x firewire ports, 2x eSATA ports, 2x LAN ports, 6x analog audio jacks, to a conveniently located “Clear CMOS” button.

Headers for additional connectors are situated on the bottom part of the motherboard. There is a black molex connector to the left. Next to it, there are the USB headers, equipped with the On/ Off Charge feature so that you can still charge your gadgets even though the system is turned off. You still need to plug the power cable to your wall outlet, of course.
