Alienware M11x: Gaming on the Go

We ran 3DMark 2006 to see how well the Alienware M11x would fare in this popular synthetic benchmark. The score is quite good actually. The notebook runs Left 4 Dead without any glitch. However, the frame rate is dangerously close to the tolerance limit of 30 FPS.

Another zombie-fest game, Resident Evil 5, puts the M11x on its knees. The game’s barely playable using even the lowest setting. It depends on your tolerance as a gamer, but you can still wade through the seas of undead in this shooter. Just don’t go expecting smooth graphics and movement though.
