Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 GC version! – Pre-Overclocked, Innovative HSF Design
Graphics Card
This is the graphics card itself, Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 GC version! The heatsink, along with the front section of the card’s PCB layout, is almost entirely covered in a plastic enclosure. The plastic casing design is somewhat robotic, with a few openings here and there. What ‘s actually interesting here is the blue fan, as we will show you later on.
On the backplate, there is the mini-HDMI connector alongside two DVI ports.
The Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 GC version! draws power from two, 6-pin PCI Express connectors. A minimum of 550 watt power supply unit is required.
The blue fan is also equipped with blue LED lamps, which could make for quite a show when it’s operating inside a casing, especially one with a transparent side panel. We recorded a maximum temperature of 92 oC in full load conditions, and 50 oC when idle.
