Sharkoon SATA QuickDeck: an eSATA+USB Docking Solution

A rather strange anomaly was found while testing the QuickDeck. We were unable to create a partition on several SSDs used for the tests. They worked just fine when connected directly to the motherboard’s SATA ports. Somehow, the QuickDeck prevents us from creating partitions. Perhaps it’s a good idea to format and partition your hard disk/ SSD before plugging it into this device.

Aside from the QuickDeck unit itself, one USB 2.0 and one SATA data cable are included in the package, along with the AC adaptor of course.
