Changing the tessellation setting to “Extreme” will put a single GTX 460 on its knees, yielding only unacceptable frame rates. That’s not the case with the two of them run the benchmark in SLI though. With the aid from another GTX 460, our test system scored more than 40 FPS.

That’s it for the games. What about performance improvement in other applications, such as this video encoding software from Cyberlink? Well, we noted almost no significant difference between single and dual graphics solution here. So it’s probably better suited for games anyway.
