Aspire 5745DG’s I/O selections are relatively complete. You can find various connectors on the left, right, and front sides. You can also hook up high-resolution displays using the HDMI connector, which should turn the notebook into an even better entertainment system. However, 3D visual effects are restricted to 3D-enabled displays only.

When attached, the large battery pack elevates the notebook several degrees up on the rear side, in a fashion similar to the hinged stands on the back of most desktop keyboards. In our opinion, it makes the notebook more comfortable to use.
