MSI CX410: A Simple Notebook with Quite a Few Surprises
Conclusions
If you’re looking for an economical notebook (under US$ 500) that packs enough power to run 3D games (albeit with limited graphics quality), the CX410 might be a good choice. It’s simple, minimalist, and functional. The 14 inch screen is large and sharp enough to allow you to enjoy movies on-the-go, while the HDMI port is a nice addition that provides an opportunity to hook up a high-resolution display to enhance your multimedia experience. We were a bit disappointed with the battery performance though. However, considering the extra level of performance you can get from the discrete graphics, that’s still worthy tradeoff.
Pros
- Discrete Radeon Graphics
Cons
- Unsatisfactory battery life
