The focal length of S95’s lens is equal to 28-105mm, not exactly ideal for a camera of its class since other manufacturers are offering 24-120mm zoom lens, which provide better wide and zoom ranges. The lens is also unable to focus on very near objects. Fortunately, it has a large lens aperture and produces sharp, clear pictures across all focal length ranges.
