Resident Evil 5

We can see that most cards in our test are almost equally fast in Resident Evil 5. The GTX 570 and GTX 480 are toe-to-toe with only 0,3 FPS between them.
Crysis Warhead

Setting : 1920×1080; DirectX 10; Enthusiast
Crysis remains one of the most favored games for benchmarking purposes. Here, the GTX 570 performs better than the GTX 480, though only by a meager 2,3 FPS.
DiRT 2

Setting : 1920×1080; DirectX 11; Quality Preset-Ultra; No-AA.
In DiRT 2, the GTX 570 managed to produce 10 more frames per second compared to GX 480. That’s almost 10% faster.
Just Cause 2

Setting : 1920×1080; Very High; AA4x; AF 16x; SSAO High; Bokeh filter On; GPU Water Simulation On.
We decided to include Just Cause 2 in our test this time. The game’s rich visuals are enhanced using some of the most modern graphics features. GTX 570 produced identical score compared to GTX 480’s.

Widely used worldwide, this popular synthetic benchmark software will soon be replaced by the 3D Mark 11, the latest release from Futuremark that provide support for the most recent graphics technologies. It’s still relevant with the current standard though, and the software can show the performance difference between today’s most powerful graphics cards. By scoring 21837 GPU points in Performance mode, the GTX 570 proves itself superior compared to GTX 480.
Unigine Heaven 2.1

Setting : 1920×1080; DirectX 11, AF x16, No-AA; High
This benchmarking software is an ideal tool to measure tessellation performance. GTX 570’s score is a tad better at 1 FPS above GTX 480’s.
