BlackBerry OS 7: OS 6 with a Touch

If you’re familiar with the BlackBerry OS 6, you will have no problem getting used to RIM’s latest operating system, the BlackBerry OS 7 used on Bold 9790. The most significant improvement we noticed is the addition of touch screen input support. Most of the user interface and operational aspects remain the same. Here are some screen shots to give you a better idea of how it looks like.

Network menu can be accessed by tapping the bar that sits on the upper portion of the screen, aside from opening up the main menu.

Other configuration screens are also similar to those you will find on the OS 6.

Finally, Adobe Flash support has now been integrated into the browser in OS 7. This should help enhance your browsing experience on the BlackBerry Bold 9790.
