Review-BlackBerry Bold 9790″Bellagio”: The Speedy Onyx, Now with Touchscreen!
Highlights: The Touchscreen
The most interesting aspect of BlackBerry Bold 9790 is, of course, its touch-enabled screen. In OS 7, however, we could only test its multi-gesture functionality by using two pressure points (fingers) to zoom in and out when viewing a picture. To see how responsive it is, we played a session of the Brickbreaker game. As it turned out, the screen is remarkably responsive, although its smaller size makes it feel rather restrictive when used to play games.
Highlights: The 5-Megapixel Camera
Every BlackBerry comes standard with a camera, and the Bold 9790 is no exception. It is equipped with the same 5-Megapixel unit found in Bold 9780.

Used outdoor under good lighting conditions, the camera produces clean, sharp image with relatively low noise.

Under dim lights, however, the noise level is slightly increased, resulting in reduced overall quality.

Multimedia Capabilities
Despite its professional orientation, every current BlackBerry device is capable of playing or displaying a wide array of multimedia files. In this regard, the Bold 9790 supports MP3, WMA, WAV, eAAC+, OGG vorbis, and FLAC audio codec.
The video player has support for MP4, H.264, H.263, and WMV files.
The multimedia file browser menu is also similar to the one in OS 6.
