Review ASUS P8H77 M-Pro: Motherboard H77 Dengan Fitur Berlimpah
Tak semua pengguna ingin memanfaatkan sistemnya untuk gaming atau overclocking. Sebagian besar hanya menginginkan motherboard dengan konektivitas tinggi, komponen yang berkualitas tinggi, dan fitur yang berlimpah dengan harga yang tak terlalu mahal. Kebutuhan inilah yang ingin dipenuhi oleh ASUS dengan motherboard H77 yang mengusung nama P8H77 M-Pro.
ASUS menggunakan label Pro pada produk untuk menggambarkan motherboard yang mengutamakan fungsionalitas. Fitur-fitur yang menyertainya umumnya lebih diarahkan kepada teknologi yang berguna bagi pengguna awam. Dengan hadirnya chipset H77 maka inkarnasi berikutnya dari motherboard yang menyandang gelar Pro ini pun telah hadir dalam bentuk ASUS P8Z77 M-Pro.
Chipset H77 sendiri diperkenalkan Intel sebagai jembatan antara fungsi dasar yang diberikan chipset seri 7 yang telah dipenuhi oleh kelas B75, tetapi fitur yang dihadirkan tidak sebanyak yang dianut oleh Z77.
Secara fungsi sebetulnya lebih dekat kepada Z77, perbedaan paling besar terlihat pada kemampuan overclocking yang ditawarkan. Jika Z77 mengizinkan overclocking pada CPU, GPU, dan RAM, H77 hanya mengizinkan overclocking hanya pada GPU saja. Perbedaan lainnya terletak pada konfigurasi PCIe, Z77 mengizinkan konfigurasi 1 x16 atau 2 x8 atau 1 x8 + 2 x4, H77 hanya mengizinkan 1 x16. Selebihnya fungsionalitas kedua chipset ini sama persis.
