Sebuah motherboard dari Supermicro kembali hadir di lab. pengujian kami. Namun, berbeda dari motherboard sebelumnya yang hadir di bawah sub-brand SuperO, yang ditujukan untuk gamer, motherboard yang hadir kali ini ditujukan untuk segmen workstation, mendukung prosesor Intel Xeon E3 v5/v6. Motherboard Supermicro tersebut adalah X11SAE.

Karena diposisikan untuk sebuah workstation, X11SAE ini tidak dilengkapi dengan pernah-pernik yang mempercantik tampilannya. Supermicro bahkan menggunakan warna “klasik”, hijau, untuk motherboard yang satu ini. Namun, semua ini cukup wajar untuk sebuah produk untuk workstation.
