Kingston DT Ultimate USB 3.0: Now This is a Real “Flash” Drive!
I/O Meter

The result from I/O Meter above is actually quite good, similar to other high-end flash drives we have tested so far.

Eighty megabytes per second? The read transfer rate even goes beyond 90 MB/s, according to I/O Meter. The write speed exceeds Kingston’s claimed rate as well.
Crystal Disk Mark
Another disk benchmarking software, the CrystalDisk Mark, confirms the results from our previous tests. The DT Ultimate has a remarkably good random read performance.

We obtained an equally good result for its write test. According to CrystalDisk Mark, DT Ultimate writes small, random files at more than 1 MB/s.
Data Transfer Test
These results are rather incredible. In all our 3 GB data transfer scenarios – carried out using two different types of data: one consisting of numerous small files and the other one made up of two large files- we were able to finish the transfers in less than 1 minute. There is one exception for the data transfer to flash drive scenario, which took only a bit more time at 1 minute and 5 seconds.
