Gigabyte Z170X Gaming G1 menggunakan desain Classic Mode untuk tampilan UEFI DualBIOS motherboard tersebut. Walaupun memiliki penampilan sederhana, tentu saja Gigabyte tetap menyajikan pilihan menu pengaturan sangat lengkap dan terasa renponsif saat bergerak dari menu satu ke menu lainnya. Bagi pengguna tingkat lanjut, menu M.I.T. (Motherboard Intelligent Tweaker) merupakan sebuah “surga” tersendiri. Pada menu tersebut pengguna akan menemukan setumpuk opsi untuk mendongkrak atau mengoptimalkan performa komponen prosesor dan juga memori/RAM. Meskipun tergolong motherboard gaming, Gigabyte tetap memberikan setumpuk pilihan opsi pengaturan baik untuk kecepatan prosesor, kecepatan beserta timing memori/RAM, dan juga voltase untuk kedua komponen tersebut.
