Hampir setahun berlalu sejak kedatangan seri MSI MPOWER yang pertamakalinya (Z77 MPOWER, yang pernah kami review disini), kini MSI merilis seri MPOWER mereka yang ditujukan untuk chipset Z87. MSI sendiri membuat 2(dua) buah motherboard MPOWER untuk chipset Z87, yakni MSI Z87 MPOWER, dan MSI Z87 MPOWER MAX. Yang datang ke lab Jagat Review adalah: MSI Z87 MPOWER MAX.

Seperti yang kita ketahui, seri MPOWER dari MSI dibuat dengan tujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan para overclocker yang ingin memaksa performa sistemnya hingga maksimal, atau sekedar memberikan durabilitas lebih bagi pengguna yang membutuhkannya. MSI MPOWER juga merupakan motherboard yang diberi sertifikasi OC oleh MSI, sehingga ini berarti secara tidak langsung MSI menggaransi motherboard ini untuk dioverclock! (Bahkan, dari informasi yang kami terima, MSI Indonesia memberikan garansi penggantian bagi semua unit motherboard MPOWER yang rusak karena terbakar)
